Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area
  • strong leadership skills
  • excellent communication abilities
  • ability to manage complex operations
  • knowledge of safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales, or marketing

Job Duties

  • Manages event planning operations and staff
  • oversees banquet, catering, event service, and technology departments
  • ensures seamless event execution from sales to operations
  • maximizes revenue through upselling and accurate forecasting
  • collaborates with culinary team on menu development and compliance
  • maintains inventory and operational standards
  • develops relationships with vendors to enhance event experience
  • leads customer service initiatives and resolves guest complaints
  • manages budgets to meet financial goals
  • conducts team training on emergency and safety procedures
  • communicates event operations status and adjustments
  • supports human resources compliance and staffing reviews
