Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional catering and events experience
- At least 3 years of experience leading high-volume catering or hospitality operations
- Proven experience hiring, staffing, and leading teams
- Proven experience managing costs in high-volume hospitality operation
- Familiarity with off-site catering challenges such as weather, space, guest dynamics
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or equivalent real-world experience
- Ability or willingness to drive large vehicles including trailers and box trucks
- Current ServSafe Manager and BASSET certifications
- Minimum age of 21 years
- Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to work approximately 50 hours per week
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and endure long periods of standing
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
- Familiarity with Total Party Planner, 7Shifts, and Margin Edge is a plus
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or equivalent experience
- Proven experience leading high-volume catering or hospitality operations
- Demonstrated ability to hire, staff, and lead effective teams
- Experience managing costs in complex hospitality environments
- Familiarity with off-site catering challenges such as weather and space limitations
- Valid driver’s license with experience or willingness to drive large vehicles
- Current ServSafe Manager and BASSET certifications
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to handle fast-paced, multi-event environments
Job Duties
- Hire and train a high-performing catering and events team
- Ensure all events are staffed, prepped, packed, and staged correctly before departure
- Coach event staff in real time across multiple events during peak times
- Manage labor, food, and operating costs without sacrificing quality
- Develop and maintain operational systems and processes for catering and events
- Oversee smooth execution of catering and event operations
- Adapt and evolve responsibilities based on company growth and industry changes
