Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional catering and events experience
  • At least 3 years of experience leading high-volume catering or hospitality operations
  • Proven experience hiring, staffing, and leading teams
  • Proven experience managing costs in high-volume hospitality operation
  • Familiarity with off-site catering challenges such as weather, space, guest dynamics
  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or equivalent real-world experience
  • Ability or willingness to drive large vehicles including trailers and box trucks
  • Current ServSafe Manager and BASSET certifications
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work approximately 50 hours per week
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and endure long periods of standing
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Familiarity with Total Party Planner, 7Shifts, and Margin Edge is a plus

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience leading high-volume catering or hospitality operations
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, staff, and lead effective teams
  • Experience managing costs in complex hospitality environments
  • Familiarity with off-site catering challenges such as weather and space limitations
  • Valid driver’s license with experience or willingness to drive large vehicles
  • Current ServSafe Manager and BASSET certifications
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to handle fast-paced, multi-event environments

Job Duties

  • Hire and train a high-performing catering and events team
  • Ensure all events are staffed, prepped, packed, and staged correctly before departure
  • Coach event staff in real time across multiple events during peak times
  • Manage labor, food, and operating costs without sacrificing quality
  • Develop and maintain operational systems and processes for catering and events
  • Oversee smooth execution of catering and event operations
  • Adapt and evolve responsibilities based on company growth and industry changes
