Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, food science, or a technical field
- 10+ years of manufacturing experience with 5+ years in food industry leadership
- Demonstrated leadership of safety initiatives
- Proven track record in operational improvements
- Knowledge of baking science and technology
- Ability to travel for meetings and benchmarking
- Strong decision-making and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, food science, or a technical field
- Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience with at least 5 years in the food industry
- Proven leadership of safety initiatives
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrated success in improving operations and delivering performance
- In-depth knowledge of baking science and process improvement
- Experience with statistical process control and plant operation programs
Job Duties
- Lead as an Operations Excellence Vision Carrier and drive accountability for running the playbook in the bakery
- Engage and develop team members through onboarding, training, coaching and performance feedback
- Build a culture of mutual respect, teamwork, and professionalism
- Uphold and promote E5 Leadership Behaviors
- Operate with a One Team mentality to support all bakery departments in meeting production and shipment goals
- Partner with business unit and cross-functional leaders to implement profit-driving strategies
- Lead Safety Integrated Management System and ensure world-class safety performance
- Utilize performance data to set strategic priorities
- Oversee financial health and maintain annual budgets
