Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 to 6 months relevant experience in food service
- Ability to obtain Florida Safe Staff certification within 90 days
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs, stooping, reaching, standing for long periods
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Willingness to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress of working in a residential care environment
Job Qualifications
- 3 to 6 months experience in a high volume dining or residential clinical dining environment
- Ability to read, write and speak English and follow directions
- Basic math and knife handling skills
- Customer service skills
- Understanding of food service methods in a high volume dining environment
- Florida Safe Staff certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Comfortable with technology
Job Duties
- Perform minor food assembly
- Assemble trays and nourishment preparation and delivery
- Provide table service in a friendly and professional manner
- Serve meals according to meal tickets
- Perform light cleaning and stocking duties
- Wash dishes and prepare items for subsequent meal periods
- Maintain temperature and sanitation logs as assigned
