Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in food service management
  • Certification in food safety preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Strong organizational and leadership abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening

  • Culinary skills with the ability to act as lead chef

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operations of the Dining Services Department
  • Prepare food items and serve food to residents within scheduled time frame
  • Follow menu cycle, noting changes or substitutions
  • Act as lead Chef up to three days per week
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Manage food inventory and control costs
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team environment
