Job Requirements
- 6-12 months experience as a food server in a restaurant, casual or fine dining setting
- Ability to sufficiently communicate in written and verbal English
- Skill in interacting effectively with guests, team members, and managers
- Ability to work cooperatively as a part of a team
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating workload
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic calculations
- Ability to comply with safety and sanitation standards and procedures
- Ability to engage with diverse populations in a respectful and culturally responsive manner
- Ability to remain calm in the face of adversity
- Demonstrated ability to prepare beverages and complete single-step food preparation tasks
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance
- Working knowledge of alcoholic beverages including beer, wine, and spirits
- Working knowledge of basic culinary techniques, terminology, and practices
- TIPS California Responsible Beverage Server certification preferred
- Must be 18 years or older
- Background check required
- Live Scan background check required prior to employment
- Satisfactory physical examination required
- Must be available to work varying schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime

Job Duties
- Provide courteous and gracious service to guests
- Serve as wait staff, buffet attendant, and bar and lounge service
- Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly and professionally
- Make recommendations and answer questions about beverages and menus
- Deliver and serve food and beverage items in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
- Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Engage with diverse populations respectfully and professionally
