Job Duties
- Updates and assembles trays according to patient menus
- maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and work stations including walk-in refrigerator and rethermalization units, walls, floors, and counter tops
- rotates food using first in first out policy
- adheres to safety and sanitation policy
- delivers trays to serving areas or to patients and returns trays for cleanup in a timely manner
- puts away weekly supply deliveries, stocks unit pantries according to guidelines
- sets up and delivers tube feedings and bulk nourishment supplies to patient units
- performs the function of a counter person in the cafeteria
- carries out the functions of a cashier
- performs related duties as required
