Job Requirements

  • minimum tenth grade education
  • food handlers permit or ability to obtain immediately after hire
  • availability to work full-time 12 pm to 8 pm shift
  • prior skilled nursing foodservice experience preferred but not required
  • ability to follow instructions and maintain hygiene standards
  • good interpersonal skills
  • ability to lift and carry items as needed

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • assist residents with meal service ensuring dietary needs are met
  • record food and equipment temperatures to ensure safety
  • clean and sanitize kitchen and dietary equipment
  • support the dietary team in food preparation and delivery
  • ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • maintain cleanliness and organization in the dietary area
  • provide friendly and responsive service to residents
