Job Requirements
- able to work assigned schedule including nights, weekends, or holidays
- able to report to work on time and work overtime when required
- pass criminal background check and drug screening
- wear personal protective equipment as required
- exposed to hot and cold temperature changes and noise
- able to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and pushing over 50 lbs
- able to work around moving parts and wet floors
- able to stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently over 8+ hour shifts
- able to use ladders or high lift equipment as needed
Job Qualifications
- good organizational skills and adaptability to frequent changes
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work around chemicals and follow safe usage guidelines
- knowledge and application of safety and sanitation standards
- ability to read, write, and understand warning labels and MDS sheets
- physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs and push up to 50 lbs
- ability to work in hot and cold environments
- familiarity with use of power wash and foaming machines
- willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- maintain sanitation standards in accordance with company policy and USDA/FDA/HACCP regulations
- dust, clean and sanitize administrative areas, cafeteria, restrooms, common areas, work areas, floors, walls, and equipment
- sweep and mop floors including behind and under areas
- remove trash within and outside of the facility
- safely use cleaning chemicals following prescribed guidelines
- operate power wash and foaming machines
- perform regular physical activities such as standing, bending, lifting, pushing, walking, stooping, twisting, reaching, squatting, crouching during shifts
- adhere to safety standards and wear personal protective equipment as required
