Job Requirements
- Texas Class A CDL license
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Ability to perform in a physically demanding role on a daily basis
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to read and understand English
- Ability to perform basic math and write legibly
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to pull/push loads up to 100 lbs
- Ability to perform heavy and repetitive lifting of products up to 165 lbs
- Ability to tolerate working in varying temperatures including extreme conditions
- Must be able to work in noisy and crowded environments
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Ability to perform job functions in compliance with company safety policies and procedures
- Must maintain regular and punctual attendance
Job Qualifications
- Texas Class A CDL license
- Previous commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Ability to perform in a physically demanding role daily and work in extreme weather conditions
- Ability to read and understand English
- Ability to perform basic math and write legibly
- High school graduate or equivalent certificate preferred
- Previous distribution business experience preferred
- Previous intrastate driving experience preferred
- Good communication skills preferred
- Prior beer, spirits or CPG industry experience preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Previous physically demanding work experience preferred
Job Duties
- Drives assigned On Premise route delivering product to customers in a safe and timely manner
- Completes deliveries to scheduled accounts following Delivery Service Guidelines and federal, state and local regulations
- Unloads, loads, and moves product using appropriate equipment while maintaining clean and organized retail work areas
- Stocks all windows, cold boxes, coolers, hot shelves and displays in retail accounts quickly and efficiently
- Rotates product to ensure quality standards are maintained
- Maintains necessary documentation and submits reports regarding delivery information, damaged product, returns and inventory control
- Maintains all company equipment and vehicles in good condition and performs pre/post-trip inspections to ensure compliance
