Job Requirements
- Valid state driver’s license meeting company driving eligibility requirements
- ability to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently
- ability to maintain delivery manifests and vehicle security
- capacity to communicate effectively with store personnel and management
- adherence to company policies including clocking in and out
- familiarity with accident report guidelines
- ability to perform vehicle checks including fluid levels and mileage logging
- ability to drive safely and defensively
- meet company's driving record standards
Job Qualifications
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences
- good interpersonal communication skills
- ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
- driving record must meet the standards set in the company's 14/18-point record system
- fluency in multiple languages, Spanish highly desired
Job Duties
- Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and distribution center
- pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop
- maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries
- keep fleet, fuel card, vehicle and keys secure
- ensure deliveries are verified and route manifest is signed by designated team members
- report delays or issues to city delivery supervisor or stores
- project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations
- check fluid levels, log mileage and report vehicle maintenance needs
- fill fuel tank and secure vehicle at end of day
- clock in and out according to company policy
