Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willingness to work a varied schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • At least one year of relevant experience, preferably in a bar or taproom
  • TIPS certification required or acquired within 3 months of hire
  • Demonstrated passion and ability to ensure excellent guest experiences
  • Passionate about Odell’s purpose of building community through beer
  • Demonstrated positive, motivated, hardworking, and collaborative attitude
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Clean driving record with no DUIs
  • Post-offer/pre-employment physical and motor vehicle report requirement
  • Ability to safely drive and operate large commercial box trucks
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items over 160 pounds
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the day
  • Ability to work long hours on feet
  • Ability to work in hot, wet, and loud environments
  • Ability to remain focused and level-headed under demanding situations

Job Duties

  • Beer and materials delivery to Denver taprooms
  • Load and unload delivery trucks
  • Safe operation of large commercial trucks
  • Comply with and remain knowledgeable on company policies and procedures, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe manner and in compliance with local, state and federal laws
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery truck
  • Maintain and clean delivery vehicle
  • Create and cultivate an inclusive environment for all guests, co-workers and community
  • Assist guests with beer and wine ordering
  • Present beer and wine, ensuring Odell Brewing quality standards
  • Remain attentive to overall flow and team needs
  • Wash and maintain glassware standards
  • Minimize beer, wine, and merchandise loss
  • Regularly clear and clean tables
  • Complete assigned tasks during downtime including ensuring the entrance, patio, and floors are clean and organized
  • Check temperature, lighting, music, cleanliness, bathroom marketing, and overall guest experience throughout the shift
  • Ensure bathroom cleanliness
  • General cleaning, stocking, and inventory management
  • Provide roaming service as scheduled to promote ticket sales and overall positive guest experiences
  • Accurately handle routine purchasing transactions including operating cash register, POS, opening/closing duties, and updating guest information
  • Actively support and assist with special events, charitable events, wine club, and e-commerce sales
  • Change kegs, tap new beers and wines, and update digital menus as needed
  • Conduct fun and informative tastings and/or provide samples to encourage sales
  • Assist with, report, and document problematic guest situations
  • Act as liaison for any outside contractors
