Job Requirements
- must be 21 years of age or older
- current valid US driver’s license
- live on the delivery route (Salinas, Monterey, Seaside, Marina)
- secure off-street parking for vehicle
- maintain a safe driving history
- ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
- frequently sit or stand for three or more hours
- excellent verbal communication skills
- problem resolution skills
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- six months minimum experience driving parcel vans or larger delivery vehicles
- valid US driver’s license
- excellent verbal communication skills
- strong customer service orientation
- problem resolution skills
- ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted
Job Duties
- load deliveries at the Salinas Cross dock
- complete delivery routes in Salinas, Monterey, Seaside, and Marina
- maintain safe and timely delivery of medical supplies and equipment
- ensure vehicle security by parking in off-street locations
- provide excellent customer service and communication
- adhere to safety and regulatory guidelines
- participate in ongoing job training and support CDL acquisition
