Job Requirements
- Must be an independent contractor
- Must carry bodily injury auto insurance coverage
- Must pass background check
- Must pass drug screening
- Must pass motor vehicle check
- Must have an optimal vehicle such as a car, crossover, or small SUV
- Must have a smartphone preferred for customer scanning requirements
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with local delivery routes preferred
- Familiarity with smartphone technology
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Complete assigned delivery routes accurately and safely
- Use a smartphone to scan and track deliveries
- Maintain communication with dispatch and customer service
- Ensure cargo is handled properly to avoid damage
- Comply with all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections
- Report any issues or incidents promptly
