Job Requirements
- Valid DOT medical card
- minimum of 3 years experience operating box trucks or similar vehicles
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts pallet jacks and hand-trucks
- capability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading
- strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- reliable transportation and punctuality
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- adherence to safety standards and company policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 3 years of experience operating box trucks or work trucks
- valid DOT medical card
- knowledge of DOT vehicle inspection requirements and safety regulations
- experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks and hand-trucks
- ability to maintain accurate records and use inventory tracking systems
- strong communication skills
- dependable and detail-oriented work ethic
- commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
Job Duties
- Safely operate company vehicles including box trucks to deliver products to customers and partners
- conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- ensure goods are properly secured during transport
- follow assigned routes and schedules adhering to traffic laws and company safety procedures
- load and unload materials from delivery vehicles
- maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
- provide excellent customer service during deliveries
- operate forklifts pallet jacks hand-trucks and other loading equipment
- maintain a clean and organized vehicle
- report any incidents occurrences with vehicle property injury safety etc
- receive inspect and document incoming shipments
- pick pack and prepare products for transportation
- assist with loading unloading and staging of goods and materials
- help maintain a clean organized and safe warehouse environment
- maintain inventory accuracy using tracking systems and report any inventory discrepancies or damage
- may be responsible for creating shipping labels or managing inventory tracking
- communicate effectively with warehouse staff and other departments
- ability to identify and mitigate safety risks on the road and in the warehouse
- adhere to all safety regulations and company policies including safe driving practices proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment
