Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain Class A CDL license within 10 weeks
- Willingness to work onsite in Greensboro, NC
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Availability to work flexible hours including early mornings
- Strong attention to detail and accountability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A CDL license or ability to obtain within 10 weeks
- Ability to learn and operate delivery and merchandising equipment
- Strong customer service skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
Job Duties
- Learn to drive a Class A CDL vehicle and obtain required licensing within 10 weeks of training start date
- Under supervision learn processes and gain skills necessary to service customers using equipment such as handheld invoicing devices
- Begin and end shift accounting procedures for cash and paperwork accountability
- Properly secure company assets and inventory and safely handle products upon delivery
- Learn and develop merchandising habits and techniques adhering to company standards
- Develop good rotation and point-of-sale practices including racks, shippers, product facing and backroom management
- Develop customer service skills by working with customers and communicating service issues to managers
- Maintain appropriate behavior promoting personal and equipment safety
- Learn all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration rules regarding DOT and Hours of Service
