Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license for state of residency
- Excellent driving history reviewed in a seven-year Motor Vehicle Report
- Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License within training period
- Ability to pass and maintain D.O.T. physical requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Availability to work some weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license for state of residency with excellent driving history
- Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Ability to pass and maintain D.O.T. physical requirements
- Previous route delivery, direct store delivery, stocking, merchandising, or retail management experience strongly preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Self-motivated with a high degree of integrity
- Ability to perform job duties with minimal supervision and timely basis
- Dependability, initiative, and professional demeanor with sound judgment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced continuous lifting environment
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Availability to work some weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Learn to drive a Class A CDL vehicle and obtain required licensing within 10 weeks of training start date
- Under supervision learn processes and gain the skills necessary to service customers using all equipment utilized in the delivery process such as invoicing using a handheld device
- Begin and end of shift check-in, out accounting procedures for cash and paperwork accountability
- Properly secure company assets and inventory and safely handle products upon delivery at customer locations
- Learn and develop merchandising habits and techniques to ensure customer and consumer satisfaction while meeting company merchandising standards
- Understand how to execute commercial plans in customer outlets
- Develop good rotation practices and understand the importance of point of sales such as racks and shippers
- Learn how to effectively build and maintain product displays, product facing, brand order, and proper backroom management
- Develop customer service skills by working with customers to understand their needs and communicating issues to management
- Promote personal safety and the safe use of needed equipment while adhering to company safety standards and FMCSA rules regarding DOT and Hours of Service
