Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 2 years driving experience
  • must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • valid drivers license
  • ability to lift merchandise up to 60 pounds
  • good communication skills
  • ability to follow company policies
  • must maintain safe driving record

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • a minimum of 2 years driving experience
  • good organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • familiarity with automotive parts is desired but not required
  • knowledge of cataloging and or inventory management systems is a plus
  • frequent travel between locations by vehicle on behalf of the company must possess and maintain a current valid drivers license
  • ability to efficiently scan handle and move merchandise including frequent lifting or moving of merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds

Job Duties

  • provide outstanding customer experiences while meeting customers during deliveries
  • drive a delivery vehicle to transport parts and products to customers including loading and unloading of parts
  • pick up parts from other stores or outside vendors ensure stock room parts are accurately stocked and maintain or check inventory
  • maintain a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries or pickups made
  • maintain store delivery truck through adherence to safety checklists ensuring vehicle is clean and that basic maintenance is done e.g. correct tire pressure
  • report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager
  • drive safely and defensively adhering to all company safety standards
