Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 2 years driving experience
- must be at least 18 years of age or older
- valid drivers license
- ability to lift merchandise up to 60 pounds
- good communication skills
- ability to follow company policies
- must maintain safe driving record
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- a minimum of 2 years driving experience
- good organizational and interpersonal communication skills
- must be at least 18 years of age or older
- familiarity with automotive parts is desired but not required
- knowledge of cataloging and or inventory management systems is a plus
- frequent travel between locations by vehicle on behalf of the company must possess and maintain a current valid drivers license
- ability to efficiently scan handle and move merchandise including frequent lifting or moving of merchandise up to 15 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds
Job Duties
- provide outstanding customer experiences while meeting customers during deliveries
- drive a delivery vehicle to transport parts and products to customers including loading and unloading of parts
- pick up parts from other stores or outside vendors ensure stock room parts are accurately stocked and maintain or check inventory
- maintain a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries or pickups made
- maintain store delivery truck through adherence to safety checklists ensuring vehicle is clean and that basic maintenance is done e.g. correct tire pressure
- report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to store manager
- drive safely and defensively adhering to all company safety standards
