Job Requirements
- must be at least 21 years old
- valid Class A Commercial Driver's License required
- able to pass Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam
- must pass pre-employment and post-employment random drug and alcohol screens
- able to drive a manual transmission
- must pass a Company-administered road test
- prepare and furnish Violation and Review Record
- have satisfactory driving record for the past three years
- have satisfactory safety history with prior DOT employers for past 10 years
- no serious traffic violation or DUI/DWI convictions in past 3-5 years
Job Qualifications
- valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
- able to safely operate manual transmission vehicles
- experience driving commercial vehicles
- knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- high school diploma or equivalency
- ability to pass Company-administered road test
Job Duties
- perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- deliver newspapers and other products
- perform all delivery department tasks
- perform production plant floor tasks
- adhere to Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
- maintain vehicle condition through inspections
- ensure timely delivery to multiple sites
