Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States
- must have valid I-9 documentation
- must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
- must have access to a smartphone with app capability and a functioning camera for scanning
- must have access to an electric or standard bicycle
- must have availability within the listed schedule and ideally start within the next two weeks
- must be able to read, speak, and write with high proficiency in English
Job Qualifications
- High proficiency in English both written and spoken
- ability to read and understand detailed instructions
- strong communication skills for liaising with dispatch and customers
- ability to use smartphone technology efficiently for navigation and logging
- previous courier or delivery experience is a plus but not required
- familiarity with local neighborhoods of Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens is beneficial
Job Duties
- Arrive on time at the Capsule pharmacy
- pick up assigned deliveries on time as directed by a Capsule teammate
- deliver medications on time to customers following mapped routes using a smartphone
- accurately record worked hours by clocking in and out via the phone app
- communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- maintain the ability to lift up to 20 pounds during deliveries
- comply with all scheduled shifts primarily in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens
