Job Requirements
- Must be licensed to operate vehicle in accordance with state, federal, and provincial law
- Must have acceptable driving record from DMV/MTO
- Must be able to continuously lift up to 70 pounds
- Must submit to a drug screen and meet acceptable Motor Vehicle Report requirements upon hiring process
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Experience operating delivery vehicles
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds continuously
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to follow safety and procedural guidelines
- Basic knowledge of inventory and order processing
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work part time as scheduled
Job Duties
- Operate vehicle in accordance with all state and federal laws while maintaining an acceptable personal driving record
- Maintain company vehicle and alert supervisor regarding repair and servicing needs
- Manage delivery paperwork and provide required documents
- Alert Sales Representatives to potential sales leads from customers
- Clean and maintain assigned areas and equipment
- Make timely product deliveries ensuring customer quality and service expectations are met
- Load and unload merchandise safely and securely at delivery sites
- Validate shipments with customer representatives
- Return materials, color matches, and tools for repair to store or warehouse
- Conduct oneself professionally to maintain customer satisfaction
- Assist in order fulfillment including staging
- Pick up merchandise from local vendors
- Provide inside customer service including processing orders
- Answer telephone professionally and handle customer inquiries
- Match packing slips with purchase orders
- Properly dispose of waste in compliance with regulations
- Assist with store inventories
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned
