Job Requirements
- Be at least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- Have a 2-door or 4-door car for driving delivery
- Possess a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter delivery
- Have a valid government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- Submit Social Security number for background screening
- Maintain a valid driver’s license in your name when delivering by car or scooter
- Pass Uber’s background check process
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license for delivery by car or scooter
- Ability to operate a car, scooter, bicycle, or deliver on foot safely and responsibly
- Familiarity with the local Waipahu area to optimize delivery routes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency to use the Uber Eats app
- Reliability and punctuality in fulfilling delivery commitments
- Ability to manage work time independently as an independent contractor
Job Duties
- Deliver food orders promptly and accurately to customers in Waipahu
- Maintain communication with customers and restaurant partners to ensure smooth order handoffs
- Follow local traffic laws and safety regulations while driving or riding
- Use the Uber Eats app to navigate routes and manage deliveries effectively
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and professional during deliveries
- Inspect delivery vehicle or transportation mode for safety and maintenance
- Manage earnings and track delivery history through the Uber platform
