Job Requirements
- at least 19 years old for car or scooter delivery
- at least 18 years old for bicycle or foot delivery
- valid driver’s license in your name for car or scooter delivery
- motorized scooter under 50cc if delivering by scooter
- government-issued ID if delivering by bicycle or on foot
- possession of a 2-door or 4-door car for car delivery
- submission of Social Security number for background check
- ability to use a smartphone compatible with the Uber app
Job Qualifications
- valid driver’s license for delivery by car or scooter
- government-issued ID for delivery by bicycle or foot
- ability to pass a background screening
- familiarity with the Peoria city layout and routes
- good interpersonal and communication skills
- previous delivery or driving experience is a plus but not required
- basic smartphone proficiency to use the Uber app
Job Duties
- accept delivery requests via the Uber app
- pick up orders from restaurants or stores
- deliver food and goods promptly to customers
- maintain courteous and professional interaction with customers
- follow safety guidelines and traffic laws during deliveries
- manage your own schedule using the Uber platform
- maintain accurate documentation and vehicle/scooter/bicycle registration and insurance as applicable
