Job Requirements
- Submit Social Security number for background screening
- Be at least 19 years old to deliver by car or scooter
- Have a valid driver’s license in your name for motorized vehicle delivery
- Own a 2-door or 4-door car for car deliveries
- Have a motorized scooter under 50cc for scooter deliveries
- Be at least 18 years old and have a government-issued ID for bicycle or foot delivery
- Be able to work as an independent contractor
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license if delivering by car or scooter
- Ownership or access to a car, scooter, bicycle, or ability to deliver on foot
- Basic familiarity with smartphone apps and GPS navigation
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Good communication skills
- Physical ability to carry food deliveries
Job Duties
- Pick up food orders from restaurants and deliver them to customers on time
- Use the Uber Eats app to navigate routes and manage deliveries
- Communicate effectively with customers and restaurants to ensure smooth deliveries
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service
- Manage your own schedule and accept delivery requests that fit your availability
- Ensure all deliveries are carried out safely and follow local traffic laws
- Handle payments and tips through the Uber Eats platform
