Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Good driving record
- Ability to pass D.O.T. physical
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds regularly
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- Ability to follow safety and company protocols
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Good driving record
- Ability to pass D.O.T. physical
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Experience operating light vehicles 26,000 pounds GVW or less preferred
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily
- Competence in vehicle inspection and maintenance
- Strong customer service skills
- Effective communication with supervisors, team members, and customers
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy loads safely
Job Duties
- Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures
- Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, or brakes, to ensure proper working condition
- Report mechanical problems with vehicles
- Properly document goods delivered or loaded
- Load and unload trucks
- Verify contents of inventory loads against shipping papers
- Maintain records such as vehicle logs, cargo records, or billing statements
- Read maps and follow geographic directions
- Report delays, accidents, or other transportation situations to base using communication tools
