Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • 1-2 years of related delivery or transportation experience preferred
  • Ability to lift products weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to operate powered industrial vehicles
  • Familiarity with state and federal transportation regulations
  • Capability to maintain accurate delivery and compliance records
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of related experience preferred
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to navigate field service interactions
  • Knowledge of company policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in equipment utilization
  • Understanding of health and safety practices
  • Ability to master and apply service conversations
  • Capability to recognize sales opportunities during service interactions

Job Duties

  • Abide by all company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations
  • Assist in verification of all outgoing and incoming product for accuracy in terms of size, amount and type
  • Collect payments from customers in monetary form acceptable to company
  • Efficiently unload cargo and stage products at customer’s place of business
  • Ensure all administrative paperwork concerning delivery orders is available and accompanies shipments
  • Maintain professional representation of the company in all interactions and through responsible driving
  • Maintain records required for compliance including driver’s logs, fuel purchases, and mileage
  • Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Timely transportation of product from origin to destination as assigned
