Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Minimum 1 year professional driving experience
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must possess a valid DOT Medical Card
- Authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- At least 1 year of professional driving experience with cube van, box truck or semi
- Satisfactory completion of company road test
- Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks such as forklifts and high reach lifts
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
- Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines
Job Duties
- Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds making 10-20 deliveries per day
- Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver’s logs and fuel purchase logs
- Make on-time deliveries safely and punctually in all weather conditions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Lift up to 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds with team lifts or mechanical equipment
- Exert pushing force up to 40 pounds when handling barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and occasionally operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
- Work approximately 8-12 hours per day
- Operate handheld devices to ensure delivery fulfillment
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- Collect payments from customers upon product delivery
- Perform other job-related tasks as assigned
