Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- One year of professional driving experience
- Successful completion of company road test
- Ability to be trained on powered industrial trucks
- Possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and up to 80 pounds occasionally
- Ability to exert pushing force up to 40 pounds
- Must follow safe operating procedures
- Ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to work overtime
- Pass pre-employment drug test excluding THC
- Valid DOT Medical Card
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- One year of professional driving experience in cube van, box truck, or semi
- Must successfully complete company road test by a qualified assessor
- Ability to be trained and safely operate powered industrial trucks and high reach lifts
- Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record
- Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Demonstrated quality customer service skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Must successfully pass pre-employment drug test excluding THC
- Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines
Job Duties
- Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles while making 10-20 deliveries per day
- Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver logs and fuel purchase logs
- Make on-time deliveries at customer locations in a safe and punctual manner under all weather conditions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections daily
- Consistently lift 50 pounds and occasionally up to 80 pounds, using team lifts or mechanical equipment for commercial tires
- Exert pushing force up to 40 pounds when handling barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks and occasionally operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- Collect payments from customers upon delivery
- Follow job-related instructions and perform other duties as assigned
