Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience
- Valid driver's license
- Pass company road test
- Ability to use powered industrial trucks and high reach lifts
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- Minimum 1 year of professional driving experience with cube van, box truck, or semi
- Successful completion of company road test by qualified assessor
- Ability to be trained and safely operate powered industrial trucks and high reach lifts
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and up to 80 pounds occasionally
- Ability to exert pushing force up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Demonstrated quality customer service skills
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Possess valid DOT Medical Card according to DOT/FMCSA guidelines
Job Duties
- Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during routes making 10-20 deliveries per day
- Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver's logs and fuel purchase logs
- Make on time deliveries at customer locations in a safe and punctual manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the assigned vehicle
- Lift and move loads up to 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds, using team lifts or mechanical equipment as needed
- Exert pushing force up to 40 pounds when handling barrels and industrial/agricultural tires
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when needed
- Work approximately 8 to 12 hours per day
- Operate a handheld device to ensure all deliveries are fulfilled
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- Collect payments from customers upon delivery
- Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned by supervisors
