Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- 1 year of professional driving experience
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and up to 80 pounds occasionally
- Ability to exert pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow safety instructions and procedures
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
- Must have or obtain valid DOT Medical Card
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- 1 year of professional driving experience including cube van, box truck, or semi
- Satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor
- Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks and high reach lifts
- Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record in compliance with driver policy
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert pushing force of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
- Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines
Job Duties
- Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during one of our many routes while making 10-20 deliveries/day deliveries
- Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver logs, fuel purchase logs, and other records as required by company policy and law
- Make on time deliveries at customer locations in a safe, punctual manner in all weather conditions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle
- Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds, using team lifts or mechanical equipment when handling commercial tires
- Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and occasionally operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
- Work approximately 8-12 hours/day
- Operate a handheld device to ensure all deliveries are fulfilled
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- Collect payments from customers upon delivery of product
- Perform other job-related tasks and follow supervisor instructions as needed
