Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • 1 year of professional driving experience
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently and up to 80 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to exert pushing force of up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to follow safety instructions and procedures
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
  • Must have or obtain valid DOT Medical Card
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • 1 year of professional driving experience including cube van, box truck, or semi
  • Satisfactory completion of company road test by qualified assessor
  • Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks and high reach lifts
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record in compliance with driver policy
  • Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds
  • Ability to exert pushing force of up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines

Job Duties

  • Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during one of our many routes while making 10-20 deliveries/day deliveries
  • Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver logs, fuel purchase logs, and other records as required by company policy and law
  • Make on time deliveries at customer locations in a safe, punctual manner in all weather conditions
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on the vehicle
  • Lift 50 pounds consistently throughout shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds, using team lifts or mechanical equipment when handling commercial tires
  • Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds with barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
  • Assist in loading/unloading trucks and occasionally operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
  • Work approximately 8-12 hours/day
  • Operate a handheld device to ensure all deliveries are fulfilled
  • Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
  • Collect payments from customers upon delivery of product
  • Perform other job-related tasks and follow supervisor instructions as needed
