Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be 21 years or older
- One year of professional driving experience
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds or more
- Ability to exert pushing force up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Pass pre-employment drug test
- Possess valid DOT medical card
- Ability to work overtime
- Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older
- One year of professional driving experience with cube van, box truck or semi and satisfactory completion of company road test
- Ability to be trained and safely use powered industrial trucks and high reach lifts
- Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record in compliance with driver policy
- Ability to safely lift 50 pounds consistently and occasionally up to 80 pounds
- Ability to exert pushing force up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow instructions and safe operating procedures
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Successfully pass pre-employment drug test
- Valid DOT Medical Card per DOT/FMCSA guidelines
Job Duties
- Drive a box truck under 26,001 pounds or other vehicles during one of our many routes making 10-20 deliveries per day
- Complete and maintain accurate records and logs including driver’s logs, fuel purchase logs, and other records as required by company policy and law
- Make on time deliveries at customer locations safely and punctually in all weather conditions
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicle
- Consistently lift 50 pounds throughout shift and occasionally lift up to 80 pounds with team lifts or mechanical equipment for commercial tires
- Exert a pushing force of up to 40 pounds when handling barrels or industrial/agricultural tires
- Assist in loading/unloading trucks and operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when needed
- Work approximately 8-12 hours per day
- Operate handheld device to ensure fulfillment of all deliveries
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- Collect payments from customers upon delivery
- Perform other job-related tasks and follow instructions from supervisors
