Our company is a well-established provider specializing in the delivery and distribution of products through daily route operations. We operate a fleet of vans and box trucks with a gross vehicle weight (GVW) ranging from 10,000 to 26,000 pounds. Job Requirements
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical certification
- Prior delivery experience
- Must have clean driving record
- Must be able to operate handheld computer and printer
- Must be able to do repetitive lifting of 50 lbs
- Must be able to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 lbs
- Must comply with company policies and applicable laws
Job Qualifications
- Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DOT medical certification
- Prior delivery experience, route based delivery preferred
- B2B customer service experience preferred
- Must have clean driving record acceptable to company insurance carrier
- Comply with company policies, procedures and applicable state and federal laws
- Must be able to operate handheld computer and printer
- Must be able to sit, stand, walk, climb, squat, bend and twist
- Must be able to do repetitive lifting of 50 lbs
- Must be able to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 lbs
Job Duties
- Verifies truck inventory
- Deliver and unload products at customer site
- Verify customer ABC license is valid when making delivery
- Maintain positive relationships with customers
- Verify each customer invoice and payment is correct at the retail account
- Responsible for printing invoices, collecting payment as needed
- Perform pre-post trip inspections of vehicle
- Operate the truck safely and within company, federal and state guidelines
- Report any problems, maintenance issues with the delivery vehicle
- Other duties as requested or assigned by management
