Job Requirements
- be at least 21 years old
- possess a valid driver’s license
- have a driving record that meets company policy for authorized drivers
- pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before starting work and every two years thereafter
- pass a government background check to receive clearance for military and government facility deliveries

- pass a government background check for access to military bases and government facilities
- know the laws, rules, and regulations governing driving motor vehicles and commercial motor vehicles
- understand and apply safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment
- build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- remain calm and function effectively in stressful or emergency situations
- be able to learn to operate warehouse material-handling equipment
- be able to learn and operate computer systems used in the delivery process
- read, write, speak, and understand English
- possess basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Job Duties
- operate trucks safely and in compliance with company rules and applicable laws
- load the truck at the Profit Center with Hajoca merchandise and secure the load properly
- understand the shipping documents and have accurate directions to each delivery destination
- review shipping documentation and ensure order accuracy
- unload correct merchandise and obtain legible signatures per company policy
- collect and secure outstanding payments for cash sale deliveries
- resolve shipping discrepancies with customers at delivery sites
- load merchandise at other locations including vendor pickups and returns
- provide sales leads by noting prospective customer names and addresses
- inspect the truck and equipment to determine safe operating conditions
- advise management of mechanical problems and complete daily vehicle inspection reports as required
- remove keys from the truck and store in the approved location at the end of the workday
- successfully complete required safety and compliance training programs
- perform other related duties as assigned by management
