Job Requirements
- valid driver's license with no restrictions other than corrective lens
- clear driving record with no more than two points
- over the age of 21
- not a registered sex offender
Job Qualifications
- knowledge of safe driving habits and motor vehicle laws
- arithmetic skills including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- effective written and verbal communication skills
- ability to provide quality customer service
- ability to drive safely and efficiently
- proficiency in basic clerical tasks such as record keeping and form completion
- ability to read and understand information in memoranda, reports, and bulletins
Job Duties
- Operate a delivery truck to deliver customer orders to retail locations according to established schedules and safety standards
- manage customer orders and materials by delivering, unloading, and scanning products at each delivery stop
- receive payments from customers as necessary
- record mileage, delivery loads, and other important information
- report vehicle condition problems or concerns
- clean and wash the delivery truck as needed
