- Have access to a vehicle, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- Possess a valid driver's license number
- Provide a social security number (U.S. only)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Complete background and ID verification
- Comply with all local delivery and traffic laws
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old (21+ to deliver alcohol)
- Have access to a car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Possess a valid driver's license
- Own a smartphone with reliable internet access
- Provide a social security number (for U.S. applicants only)
- Complete successful ID verification
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with customers
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, and retailers
- Deliver orders promptly to customers at their location
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to navigate delivery routes efficiently
- Maintain communication with customers as necessary during delivery
- Manage order hand-off ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction
- Handle payments and cash out with the DoorDash payment system
- Abide by local traffic and safety regulations while on delivery routes
