Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
- Possess a valid driver's license number
- Have a social security number (if in the US)
- Consistent access to a smartphone
- Own any car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- Pass eligibility requirements and successful ID verification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior delivery or driving experience is a plus
- Ability to operate a car, scooter, or bicycle safely
- Familiarity with smartphone technology and apps
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Duties
- Deliver meals, groceries, or retail orders in a timely manner
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to accept and manage delivery requests
- Communicate effectively with customers and merchants
- Ensure accuracy and quality of orders before delivery
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while on deliveries
- Manage routes and time efficiently to maximize earnings
- Handle payments and cash out earnings through the app
