Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical ability test
- Full-time availability including weekends from 6am until all assigned deliveries are completed
- Capable of heavy lifting up to 75lbs or more
- Ability to work in a large non-air-conditioned warehouse environment
- Valid Florida driver’s license
- Clean driving record
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suites
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED or trade school
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Strong teamwork skills and customer orientation
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suites
- Ability to safely operate company delivery vehicles
- Experience with physical labor including lifting heavy items
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment
- Prior experience in delivery or logistics preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Deliver and install furniture in customers' homes in a friendly professional manner using proper material handling techniques to prevent damage and or personal injuries
- Open and inspect products for parts/damages prior to leaving the Distribution Center to ensure a successful delivery for each customer
- Drive company vehicles in a safe manner
- Contact customers upon leaving Distribution Center to provide them with a two-hour delivery time frame
- Load and unload products utilizing proper material handling techniques and equipment to minimize damages
- Contact customers as well as the Customer Care Department for any unforeseen changes to the daily plan
- Work in the Distribution Center as needed
