Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • no prior CDL experience necessary but willingness to obtain Class A CDL within 10 weeks
  • reliable attendance and punctuality
  • ability to safely operate delivery equipment
  • physical capability to lift and carry merchandise
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work with customers and management
  • adherence to federal motor carrier safety regulations
  • willingness to work on-site in Memphis, TN

Job Duties

  • Learn to drive a Class A CDL vehicle and obtain required licensing within 10 weeks of training start date
  • under supervision learn processes and gain skills necessary to service customers using delivery equipment such as handheld invoicing devices
  • perform begin and end of shift check-in and check-out accounting procedures for cash and paperwork
  • properly secure company assets and inventory
  • safely and properly handle products upon delivery at customer locations
  • develop merchandising habits and techniques to meet company standards
  • execute commercial plans in customer outlets
  • develop good product rotation practices and maintain displays, product facing, and brand order
  • manage backroom inventory
  • develop customer service skills by communicating customer needs and issues
  • promote personal and equipment safety and adhere to all safety guidelines and federal regulations
