Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in professional driving role or equivalent position
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Valid Driver's License
- Must meet all physical requirements related to DOT and FMCSA regulations
- Ability to lift 50 plus pounds independently and excess of 50 pounds with assistance
- Must be 18 or older for non CDL drivers and 21 or older for CDL drivers
- Ability to maneuver in restricted spaces
- Ability to perform physical actions including straight pulling, pulling hand over hand, reaching above the shoulder, use of fingers for fine manipulation, and repeated bending
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Minimum one year of experience in professional driving role or equivalent position
- Home care or health care background is a plus
- Valid Driver's License
- Must be good with people, with excellent speaking and writing skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Ability to critically think, make decisions, and be mentally alert
- Must convey a positive and professional image to customers and employees
- Ability to read and understand DOT and FDA required paperwork
Job Duties
- Follow complete patient orientation checklists during delivery and training
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules
- Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
- Inspect and maintain company-provided delivery vehicle, ensuring safety during the loading and unloading process
- Establish and maintain outstanding relations with patients and internal team members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and warehouse, adhering to all FDA protocols
- Work on-call rotation during evening and weekend hours to address any patient medical emergencies in accordance with company and local policies
