Job Requirements
- valid driver’s license
- acceptable motor vehicle record status continuously monitored
- ability to lift and maneuver heavy or awkward items (50+ pounds)
- ability to perform physical activities such as walking, standing, stooping, and climbing
- willingness to travel overnight less than 10 percent of the time
- ability to follow safety protocols and maintain delivery vehicle
- must be able to troubleshoot and escalate installation issues when necessary
Job Qualifications
- prior experience delivering and installing appliances
- at least one year of experience operating material handling equipment
- experience operating a box truck
- no more than two moving violations or two minor accidents in the past rolling three years
- experience in wholesale distribution
- high school diploma or GED preferred
- specialized skills training or certification may be required
- generally two to five years of experience in area of responsibility
Job Duties
- provides exceptional customer service and addresses any concerns during delivery and installation
- loads, transports, and delivers kitchen and laundry appliances safely to customer homes or businesses
- installs appliances ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines, building codes, and safety standards
- performs basic connections such as water, electrical, and venting during installation
- removes old appliances and disposes of packaging materials as needed
- troubleshoots basic installation issues and escalates when necessary
- maintains delivery vehicle and follows safety protocols
