Job Requirements
- must possess a current and valid driver’s license
- must possess and maintain an acceptable driving record
- must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- must be able to communicate in English
- must be able to bend down, bend knees, lift and carry up to 25 pounds while walking upstairs
- must be able to be physically active for entire shift and stand intermittently
- pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record review prior to employment
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma
- previous delivery or customer service experience preferred
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- physical ability to bend, lift up to 25 pounds, and be active during the entire shift
- valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Job Duties
- work with pharmacy staff to ensure deliveries leave the pharmacy on time
- transport and deliver medication and front store items safely and securely
- maintain delivery log of activities including recipient identification when required
- report status and any issues to pharmacy management
- ensure patient confidentiality
- maintain company vehicles if assigned by cleaning, fueling, and reporting mechanical issues
- use personal reliable and insured transportation if no company vehicle is assigned and be reimbursed for mileage
- provide excellent customer service and multitask under limited supervision
- navigate routes using internet map programs such as Google Maps or Mapquest
