Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year general warehouse or driver experience
- Valid California non-commercial class driver’s license
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid California Food Handlers Permit
- Ability to understand and communicate in English with adequate proficiency
- Ability to drive and operate a light and/or medium delivery truck safely in conformance with state laws
- Basic oral and written communication skills
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills
- Ability to lift, push, and/or pull objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
- Ability to stand, stoop, reach, bend, climb slopes, stairs, steps, ramps, and ladders
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
- Ability to follow food safety, HACCP, and PPE requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Transport food and supplies amongst all High Tech High campuses in a district vehicle
- Maintain assigned vehicle including fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, and tire pressure to ensure safe operation and sanitation
- Follow traffic laws and drive safely to protect self, others, and food quality
- Ensure all food delivery is completed on time to meet schedule demands
- Responsible for accurate delivery and condition of food and supplies
- Prepare food items, supplies, and/or equipment for designated sites
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas
- Follow assigned cleaning responsibilities
- Inform FNS Director or Supervisor immediately of delay or mechanical failure
- Unload vehicle and store equipment appropriately upon return
- Adhere to food and safety handling policies including HACCP and PPE
- Interact with customers following organizational customer service standards, solve food quality issues
- Read and respond to emails in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
