Job Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- hold a valid driver’s license (Class A, B, D, Chauffeur's, or equivalent)
- have a clean driving record
- pass a drug test including marijuana
- pass DOT physical
- be able to safely lift/carry up to 75 lbs and up to 150 lbs with a hand truck
- pass FedEx Ground criminal background check
- have reliable transportation to and from work
- be punctual and ready to work each day
- be able to climb stairs
- be able to work in all types of weather
- demonstrate a strong work ethic and get it done attitude
Job Qualifications
- Have valid Class A, B, D, Chauffeur's or equivalent license
- have work-related driving experience preferred
- possess strong customer service skills
- ability to work independently and within a team
- good physical stamina to carry heavy packages
- familiarity with using delivery scanners
- clean driving record
Job Duties
- Operate vehicle safely at all times
- deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences
- perform daily vehicle inspections including checking fluid levels
- load vehicle for deliveries and organize daily loads
- work independently and as part of a team
- provide exceptional customer service and maintain communication with manager
- accurately operate scanner and track delivery process
- ensure accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups
- consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner
