Job Requirements
- 18 years or older
- at least 21 years old to deliver alcohol
- valid driver's license
- access to a car, scooter, or bicycle in select cities
- consistent access to a smartphone
- social security number if in the US
- successful completion of identity verification
- willingness to comply with local regulations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior delivery or customer service experience advantageous but not required
- strong time management and organizational skills
- ability to use a smartphone and navigate GPS apps
- good communication skills
- reliable transportation including car, scooter, or bicycle (in select cities)
- valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from restaurants, grocery stores, and retailers
- deliver orders promptly and accurately to customers
- use the DoorDash Dasher app to manage delivery requests and navigate routes
- communicate with customers to confirm order details if necessary
- maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service at all times
- handle payments and transactions through the app
- follow safety protocols and traffic regulations while delivering
