Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old (21 or older to deliver alcohol)
- Have consistent access to a smartphone
- Possess a valid driver’s license number
- Provide social security number (United States only)
- Own any car, scooter, or bicycle in eligible cities
- Pass background and ID verification
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior delivery or customer service experience is beneficial
- Ability to use a smartphone and navigate with GPS
- Good communication skills
- Reliable means of transportation (car, scooter, or bicycle in select areas)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with local streets and neighborhoods
Job Duties
- Pick up orders from assigned restaurants, grocery stores, or retail stores
- Deliver orders to customers promptly and accurately
- Maintain communication with customers and DoorDash support as needed
- Use the DoorDash Dasher app to receive and navigate delivery requests
- Handle payments and cash out earnings using the DoorDash Crimson debit card
- Ensure orders are handled with care and delivered in good condition
- Comply with all traffic laws and company policies during deliveries
