Job Requirements
- Must possess a valid Class C driver’s license
- Must have a clean driving record for the past three years and be acceptable to company insurance carriers
- Able to provide previous drug and alcohol information from prior employers
- Able to frequently exert physical effort handling objects over 75 lbs
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Two years of prior experience driving delivery trucks with dumping beds preferred
- Mechanical aptitude to perform minor vehicle and equipment repairs preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting
Job Duties
- Perform safe and efficient delivery of landscape materials
- Operate non-CDL dump trucks such as Ford F550 and Ford F650
- Comply with all relevant State of California and federal regulations
- Communicate effectively and courteously with customers
- Navigate challenging delivery sites using good peripheral vision and depth perception
- Maintain professionalism and cooperative behavior with customers and co-workers
- Take initiative and problem solve in a busy Landscape Supply Yard environment
