Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 6 months of route delivery experience with a CMV
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Valid or obtainable DOT health card
- Ability to lift and move product cases up to 90 pounds using equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 6 months of route delivery experience in a CMV
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Hold or able to obtain valid DOT health card
- Ability to hand-lift and use equipment to move product cases and freight up to 90 pounds
Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections
- Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to meet safety standards
- Report all safety issues and repairs required
- Follow DOT regulations and company safe driving policies
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count check of items and verify customer invoices
- Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly
- Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer
- Drive to deliver customer orders on predetermined routes
- Unload products and transport into customer storage areas
- Perform damage control checks on items and notify supervisor
- Verify delivery with customer and obtain proper signatures
- Collect payments where required
- Load customer returns and secure trailer doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are locked and secured
- Unload damaged goods and complete necessary paperwork
- Complete daily hours of service logs per DOT and company requirements
- Perform housekeeping duties in tractor and dock area
- Complete all end-of-shift paperwork and secure equipment
- Perform other related duties as assigned
