Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid CDL-A license
  • Minimum 6 months of route delivery experience with a CMV
  • Meet all state licensing and certification requirements
  • Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
  • Pass drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Valid or obtainable DOT health card
  • Ability to lift and move product cases up to 90 pounds using equipment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience
  • Valid CDL-A license
  • Minimum 6 months of route delivery experience in a CMV
  • Meet all state licensing and certification requirements where applicable
  • Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
  • Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Hold or able to obtain valid DOT health card
  • Ability to hand-lift and use equipment to move product cases and freight up to 90 pounds

Job Duties

  • Perform all required safety checks including pre/post trip inspections
  • Inspect tractor/truck and trailer to meet safety standards
  • Report all safety issues and repairs required
  • Follow DOT regulations and company safe driving policies
  • Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
  • Perform count check of items and verify customer invoices
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly
  • Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailer
  • Drive to deliver customer orders on predetermined routes
  • Unload products and transport into customer storage areas
  • Perform damage control checks on items and notify supervisor
  • Verify delivery with customer and obtain proper signatures
  • Collect payments where required
  • Load customer returns and secure trailer doors
  • Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are locked and secured
  • Unload damaged goods and complete necessary paperwork
  • Complete daily hours of service logs per DOT and company requirements
  • Perform housekeeping duties in tractor and dock area
  • Complete all end-of-shift paperwork and secure equipment
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
