Job Requirements

  • Must have a valid CDL class A license
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Clean driving record with no SR22 insurance
  • Provide copies of CDL and DMV record prior to start
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous beverage delivery experience preferred
  • Good customer relations skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid CDL Class A license
  • Proven experience in truck driving, preferably in beverage delivery
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong customer relations skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and follow detailed instructions
  • Capability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely

Job Duties

  • Make sure goods and products are secured inside the truck or trailer to minimize damage during transit
  • Read and work efficiently from routing manifest to deliver products to customers using truck, forklift, pallet jack and/or hand truck
  • Accurately record invoices, credits, or other instructional information on the truck route manifest, complying with any special instructions for proper and efficient delivery
  • Maintain accurate records of route, follow check-in procedures, verifying accurate payment for invoices and check in any returned product
  • Follow correct procedures to document customer receipt of product, omissions or errors and collect payment as appropriate
  • Collect or pick up empty containers, rejects, or unsold merchandise
  • Issue or obtain customer signature on receipt for pickup or delivery
  • Upon completion of delivery route, follow check-in procedures verifying accurate payment for invoices and check in any returned product, pallets, or containers
  • Clean assigned delivery vehicle and trailer
  • Perform pre-trip/post-trip inspection of assigned vehicle and complete reports
  • Suggest and implement ways for the warehouse and company to improve profits, quality, and service
  • Perform other duties as assigned
