Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with no DUIs
- Minimum 1 year driving experience with delivery trucks under 3 tons
- Ability to maintain compliant driving record
- Successful completion of a drug screen
- Ability to read and understand instructions and policies
- Ability to complete written documentation
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with no DUIs
- Minimum 1 year driving experience with box trucks under 3 tons
- Ability to maintain a driving record meeting federal, state, and company standards
- Ability to read instructions, policies, procedures, bills of lading, and product descriptions
- Ability to complete written forms
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to exercise good judgement and work independently
Job Duties
- Properly operate and maintain the delivery truck while obeying all laws
- Ensure all delivery loads are stacked, padded, and secured
- Verify load accuracy against the Bill of Lading and acquire signatures
- Load and unload tires and parts by hand and pallet jack
- Perform various warehouse functions including loading and unloading 53 ft. trailers
- Assist with distribution center operations when not delivering
- Complete other assigned duties
