Job Requirements
- valid driver’s license with safe driving record acceptable to the company
- must remain eligible to drive commercial motor vehicle under applicable laws
- ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen (no THC) to the extent legally permissible
- must obtain 6-month DOT medical card for the role
- ability to lift up to 70 pounds and push/pull items up to 400 pounds with equipment assistance
- occasionally able to maneuver items weighing up to 130 pounds
- must wear safety composite shoes
- must be at least 21 years of age
- full-time associates must be able to work additional hours and overtime as needed
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience
- minimum one year of truck driving experience operating 16ft or longer straight truck or comparable driving experience
- high volume package delivery experience
- basic English language skills both verbal and written
- ability to use GPS and mobile devices proficiently
- ability to make sound decisions regarding driving, parking, safety, and customer interactions
Job Duties
- transport products safely and deliver office supplies on assigned routes
- load truck depending on volume
- ensure safe work practices and embrace safety culture
- organize and load products utilizing manifest for efficient delivery
- provide customer support and accept product returns
- use technology including GPS and mobile Proof of Delivery devices
- perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
